Hospice doesn't give the power to shorten or prolong life, just the power to live it as you choose; to be at home, if you wish; to be pain-free; to be comforted and cared for.

Heart 'n Home Hospice & Palliative Care provides hospice services to patients throughout Idaho's Treasure Valley and surrounding communities as well as Eastern Oregon's Malheur, Baker, Union, and Deshutes Counties. All Heart 'n Home Offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with on-call Nursing Services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Heart ‘n Home Volunteers bring the same integrity, spirit, and quiet wisdom that inspire our work at Heart ‘n Home. Hospice Volunteers are taught to bring mindfulness and compassion to patients and their families. Volunteers are interviewed, undergo a background check, and receive intensive holistic training before being qualified for assignments with Heart ‘n Home patients and their families. We realize each patient is a unique individual with special needs, so use your imagination! |

Typically, a Volunteer will be assigned for one hour per week, by request of the patient and/or family. Upon special request, Volunteers may be available for additional hours (e.g., doctor appointments, grocery shopping, etc.). Services may be requested as needed, but are subject to availability. Please give at least 48 hours notice.
