Heart ‘n Home has a team of five Medical Directors,
led by our Chief Medical Officer, Paul C. Gering, M.D.
The physician support made available to our patients is a
primary role of our Interdisciplinary Team. Dr. Gering has
overseen end-of-life care for over 1,850 patients,
managing their pain and symptoms and increasing their
quality of life. Heart ‘n Home’s Medical Directors and
on-staff Nurse Practitioners visit patients in their
homes and at care facilities for recertification visits.

- Assists Primary Physician in Ensuring Patient is Comfortable
